Guide to Install wall stickers

Wall decals adhere best to smooth, clean surfaces, so make sure your wall is clean and dry before starting. Vinyl decals usually stick well to lightly textured walls, but you may encounter difficulty with a highly textured wall.

A tape measure and level helps you center the design and keep it straight. Once you have it positioned, use painter’s tape to hold it in place while you transfer it to the wall. The actual design is sandwiched between transfer paper and a paper backing.

First remove the paper backing by carefully peeling it away from the design at a flat, 180-degree angle. After that, place the design against the wall and use a hard plastic squeegee to press the design onto the wall. Remove the transfer paper using the same method as the backing paper. Large decals come in sections and must be applied one section at a time.
